Standard printed name badges start at $12.00 each for 1 to 4 badges and drop with volume: $11.00 at 5-9, $10.00 at 10-19, $9.50 at 20-49, $9.00 at 50-99 and $8.00 each at 100 or more. Prices exclude GST.
Is there a minimum order for name badges?
No. Packaging Products Production runs one badge or five hundred with the same attention to detail. Flexible quantities are part of the service, so short runs and one-offs are welcome.
Is there a setup fee?
Setup is a one-off $30 on orders under 10 badges, and free from 10 badges up. Repeat orders where only the name changes never pay setup again.
How long do name badges take to make?
We email a proof within one working day and nothing is printed until you approve it. Most orders are dispatched from our Lower Hutt facility within 5-7 working days of approval, which suits onboarding, events and planned rollouts.
How do I order?
Fill in the enquiry form above with your options, names and logo. There is no online payment. We check your artwork, then email a confirmed quote and a proof within one working day. Once you approve it, we make your badges and invoice you.
What finishes are available on a name badge?
Every full-colour printed badge includes a free clear domed resin coating for durability. Engraved plastic badges, a laminate finish rather than resin, and larger sizes are all made to order - tick the box on the form or ask for a quote.
Can I get gold or silver backing on a name badge?
Yes. Premium metal backing in gold or silver has a 71mm x 19mm print area. It adds $5.00 per badge at low volumes, dropping to $0.50 per badge at 100 or more.
What fixings can I choose?
A pin clip is included as standard. A magnetic fixing adds $2.00 per badge, and is the usual choice where pinholes in uniforms are a problem.
What artwork do you need for a name badge?
A vector logo is best - PDF, AI or EPS. Bitmap files such as PNG or JPG work too, provided they are at least 300 DPI at the finished badge size. Upload your file with your enquiry and we will check it, Pantone match your colours and flag anything that will not print cleanly before it goes on the machine. Shipping to a single address anywhere in New Zealand is $9.00 on orders of 1 to 4 badges, and free from 5 badges up.
